ADF Structure, Customs, and Policies, #2

Describe the duties and function of clergy in ADF. (100 words min.)

The duties and functions of clergy in ADF are vast and significant.  Clergy are responsible for the spiritual guidance to those in need, as well as setting an example in leadership for others to follow suit.  As a clergyman, we are also expected to be knowledgeable in ADF theology as well as experienced liturgists in ritual so that we can not only take any role needed in ritual, but also train future clergy and liturgists.  In the mundane world, we provide services to the community through prison ministry, hospice ministry, as well as perform ceremonies for weddings, funerals, rites of passage, and all related types of commemorations.  Essentially we serve the folk and the Kindred in whatever ways are appropriately necessary.
